Q: Do you repair trailers, or only the tractor?

Both — a load doesn't move if the trailer's down. We handle trailer air, electrical, and lighting problems roadside wherever we can, right alongside the tractor. If it's something bigger, we'll tell you honestly whether it's a roadside fix or a tow to the shop before anyone's left waiting.

Q: Do you carry parts on the service truck, or will we be waiting on a part?

Our trucks are stocked for the failures that strand a rig most often — hoses, common tires, brake chambers, air fittings, batteries, lights, belts, and filters — so a lot of repairs are one-and-done on the shoulder. If your truck needs a less common part, we'll tell you up front what it takes to source it, so you can weigh waiting versus a tow with the full picture in front of you.

Q: What makes and types of trucks do you work on?

We're an independent operation, not a dealer, so we work on all the major makes — Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo, Mack, International — and the trailers behind them. Heavy-duty tractors, tankers, and commercial trucks are our everyday work. If you're not sure we cover your unit, call and describe it; more often than not the answer is yes.

Q: Can you actually fix my truck on the roadside, or will I end up getting towed anyway?

Most of the time we get you rolling right where you sit. The shoulder is where we handle brakes and air leaks, hydraulic hoses, tires, batteries and jumpstarts, lockouts, fuel, trailer lights and wiring, and computer diagnostics. A tow is our last resort, not our first move — we only recommend one when a repair genuinely can't be done safely and correctly at the scene, and we tell you that straight rather than defaulting to the hook.

Q: Do I have to be towed, or can you fix it on the roadside?

Not every breakdown needs a tow. Our mobile repair service brings the shop to you — hydraulic hoses, tires, jumpstarts, lockouts, brake chambers, computer diagnostics, and more. If we can get you rolling on the shoulder, we will, so you're not hauled off-route and out of service for a problem we can solve on the spot. When a tow is the right call, we tell you straight.

Q: Can you tow a fully loaded Class 8 tractor-trailer, or only lighter units?

We're a heavy-duty operation — Class 7 and 8 trucks, tractor-trailers, tankers, and commercial vehicles, loaded or empty. We also handle full recovery, not just towing: winch-outs from the ditch or embankment, accident recovery, and securing the load so nothing gets worse on the way out. If it's on this corridor and it's heavy equipment or machinery , we have the wreckers and the experience for it.

Q: My driver only knows they're on "I-99" (or "US-15") — can you still find them?

Yes. As of July 30, 2026, US-15 through this stretch is officially Interstate 99, so drivers and GPS units are using both names right now — and to us it's the same road we've worked for decades. Give us the nearest exit number, mile marker, or landmark (a bridge, an on-ramp, the Tioga Reservoir grade) and we'll pinpoint you fast. If your driver isn't sure, we'll talk them through what to look for.

Q: How fast can you reach my truck on I-99 or US-6?

We're based in Mansfield, right at the I-99 (US-15) and US-6 junction, so we're already sitting in the middle of the corridor we cover — from the New York state line at Lawrenceville south toward Williamsport, and east–west on US-6 through Troy and Wellsboro. When you call, a real dispatcher gives you an honest, realistic ETA based on your actual location and traffic, not a stall. We run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so there's no after-hours gap.
